This study aims to develop and validate a scale to measure student academic resilience on junior high school level. The sample in this study was 865 junior high school students spreading across various regions in Indonesia. The methodology used in this research was quantitative, using a questionnaire with a 4-point Likert scale. The data analysis used the Rasch model, "i.e." Winsteps software. Analysis shows that the respondent's reliability index is 0.78 while the item reliability index is 0.90. The item polarity angle indicates that each item can contribute to student academic resilience because the point-measure correlation value of each item between 0.49 to 0.75.
